7 Game Winning Dishes For Super Bowl Sunday
It’s just days before the big game and you plan on having a few of your neighborhood friends over, knowing they will be arriving with their drinks of choice and you’re left responsible for some tasty eats. If you’re like me, then planning a full-blown meal is not ideal for this group of misfits and you more than likely are not going to look forward to the cleanup afterward. Ugh, I cannot stand a sink full of dishes after a day of entertaining. Let’s keep it simple! I share with you some of my favorite Pinterest finds and delicious dishes you can whip up and have game day ready in no time.
The Salty Marshmallow mixes up one of the BEST guacamole recipes I have ever had. It’s called “THE BEST” for a reason. It’s not only super easy to make but you can add a little extra of your favorite ingredients from the recipe to make it exactly the way you’d like. I personally throw in a few sesame seeds to give it a little extra texture and taste. Grab the recipe here: The Best Guacamole Recipe.
SPICE IT UP - Bacon Wrapped Cheesy Stuffed Jalapeños
What can you do when you are left with nothing but cream cheese, shredded cheese, some condiments, bacon and a few jalapeños left in the refrigerator? You do exactly what Sally and her husband did by whipping up and sharing this super simple and oh so yummy recipe for bacon wrapped cheesy stuffed jalapeños. How could 5 ingredients all come together and whip up a spicy treat your guests will be tackling over? Find out how at Sally’s Baking Addiction.
CRISPY LOADED HASSELBACK POTATO BITES
Before you pass this one up thinking, “Ugh, I’ve totally done skins before and they can take some time.” Yea, I totally agree. But check these bad boys out. A lot less time consuming and same delicious loaded tater taste. Comfort Cooking had me swooning over these after the first bite.
PROSCIUTTO WRAPPED ASPARAGUS
Ooooo yummy! Asparagus is one of this girls favorite treats. Packed full of nutrients and when cooked just right, I could literally gorge myself. These may not be the healthiest version of asparagus you could dish up for yourself but they sure are tasty and the Inspired Dreamer walks you through exactly how to make this dish in no time at all.
FOOTBALL CHEESE BALL
Because every party needs a cheese ball, and this one will serve up to 30 people. Add more (or less) jalapeños depending on your heat preference. Check it out with Peas & Crayons
MOZZARELLA, RED PEPPER & BACON SKEWERS
Minimalist is my jam and anything I can quickly put together with little to no work is my way of planning. "Stick" with these healthy skewers by Country Living and everyone will be happy.
PIGS IN BLANKETS
Last but certainly not least, an all-time favorite, classic pigs in a blanket. Frozen pastry dough and all-beef hot dogs make up these crowd-pleasing bites. Also dished up by Country Living.
So there it is friends, my 7 go-to, simple and delicious quick fix bites you can prepare for this upcoming game day Sunday.
